About the SC Association for Higher Continuing Education
The South Carolina Association for Higher Continuing Education (SCAHCE) was constitutionally organized in 1977 by continuing educators representing various institutions of higher education within the state. The major purpose of the Association is to promote continuing education within South Carolina and respond to the needs of educators and administrators of continuing education in order to better serve students and other consumers of continuing education programs.

Meet the SCAHCE Board
Stephanie W. Gregg
President, Recognition & Awards Chair
Stephanie W. Gregg serves as the director of operations for the Economic Development and Corporate Training (EDCT) division at Greenville Technical College located in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, she provides coordination of the day-to-day operations of EDCT, which includes managing grants, assessing and evaluating data, managing pricing and expenses, and coordinating marketing plans. A graduate of Clemson University, she earned a B.S. in ceramic engineering along with LERN credentials as certified program planner and certified contract training.
Lauren Holland
Legislative Affairs Committee Chair
Lauren Holland is the Associate Vice President of Corporate and Workforce Development at Florence-Darlington Technical College in Florence, South Carolina. She brings to FDTC over ten years of technical college experience in helping business and industry to assess, develop and deliver workforce development solutions. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University, and she will complete her Ed.D. in Higher Education Executive Leadership from Wingate University in 2022.
Jennifer Moorefield
Conference Leader
Jennifer Moorefield is associate vice president for Economic Development and Corporate Training at Greenville Technical College, responsible for the division, its day-to-day operations, corporate training, and administration. Moorefield is an expert in organizational effectiveness and change management with over 25 years of experience providing coaching, facilitation, training, and leadership services to business and industry. Her organizational roles have included adjunct faculty and divisional manager at Greenville Technical College, principal at Triad Consulting, and senior director of human resources for Dynegy. Moorefield earned an undergraduate and master's degree from Winthrop University.
Emily Teagle
Treasurer, Membership Chair
Emily Teagle is the Assistant Director of Operations in the Corporate and Continuing Education division at Midlands Technical College. She has worked at Midlands Tech for over three years enjoying various roles and opportunities during that time. She enjoys reading and spending time with friends in her free time.
Dr. Josh Herron
Secretary
Dr. Josh Herron serves as Dean of Online and Continuous Learning and Program Director of the Instructional Design and Learning Technology Graduate Programs at Anderson University (SC). He earned his PhD from Clemson University and M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also completed Penn State and the Online Learning Consortium's Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning. He has been recognized as UPCEA South Region's Emerging Leader and awarded a Best-in-Track Presentation with the Online Learning Consortium. Dr. Herron has over 35 national and regional presentations and publications on educational innovations, pedagogical research, and interdisciplinary scholarship.
Dr. Pat Guilbaud
Communications Chair
Dr. Pat Guilbaud serves as Director of Extended Education & Summer School and Associate Professor at Winthrop University. He currently leads the development and rollout of tailored academic and training programs to serve adult learners and working professionals in the Upper Palmetto region of the state of South Carolina and beyond. In addition, He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Global Environments and Economies, International Business Management, Learning Design Technology, and Project Management at the University. He holds a PhD in Learning Design Technology, a MBA and MSE all from the University of Virginia and a BSBA from the University of Florida.
Nan Johnston
Nominating Chair
Nan is the Director for the Clemson University Center for Corporate Learn. Nan leads business development efforts for clients and corporate partners. She is responsible for product development, client relationships, corporate partnerships and training planning and development.
